Weekly Post #6: It's actually week 28 (+ an unpublished entry)

Short Term Period; Better than 3-month holiday?

Third week of short term period (it's like summer class but since we don't have summer--it's either very hot or raining, no in between--we don't call it summer class) and i'm mentally exhausted lol it's just this same subject 4 days in a row from 8 to 10 and i'm on the edge of losing my mind.


What did I do on Holiday...?

The answer is simple.

Nothing. 

BUTTT days after the short term started I went to PRJ with old friends, impulsively! We didn't plan it at all. Went home at half past 11 and got locked out of my house HAHA made my dad came out to open the gate :(

And to be fair, since the short term started I have spent more IDR 700K. I was that crazy. It just started 2 weeks ago!!!!!!! The expense included all-day trip to PRJ, 2 times karaoke, restaurant meals, and snacks obviously.

...EH WAIT I remember something! I did something on holiday. It's Mystic Messenger. Yep. Played the Zen route. Life has never been the same eversince.



My Bullet Journal-ing hobby rose up once again

Right, I usually post at weekends (sometimes on Mondays but I changed the date) but, as surprising as it is, I miss writing blogs! I also picked up my old hobby that I had given up at the start of the year--bullet journal! Like, one day I was cleaning up my desk and I found a bunch of empty decent notebooks AND unused stationery that i never used again since I stopped bullet journal-ing.


you probably think, why would i stop bullet journal-ing? well, I thought it was kind of taking my time with all the designing and stuff and also i'm not a creative person so i'm not good with retrieving ideas :/ I did have fun through the whole process tho. I always got satisfied every time I finished the layouts. Maybe it was because I was tired of the commitment. I had been doing it for 6 months and i needed other alternatives to record my days lmao

so I did; I looked up mobile apps for write journals, habit tracking, planning the day, money tracking, etc; exactly everything I wanted in a traditional bullet journal.

Here are the apps that I used (some I rarely use it nowadays):

(-) Money Lover [Money Tracker]
To be fair I have been using this a year before i started bullet journal-ing lmao i sometimes tracked my expenses in my bullet journal just for fun. But i use this app daily until now because it has an easy UI, you can overview your income/expenses for the week, month, year, or even custom range. You also can create a budget; this feature is important for meal plans, travelling, etc. There are these other features such as debt tracker, savings, and so on haha i sound like advertising the app but really, it is that good i even paid for a premium lmao

(-) Daylio [Daily Journal, Mood Tracker]
I once used this before i started bullet journal-ing but stopped because i didn't commit lol. I installed the app on February this year (a month after i stopped bullet journal-ing) and started using it. Today i'm on 149 days streak! It's fun because you get to submit your mood and journal anytime you want (i only do one a day because i'm bad at committing) and you can look at all your entries for the entire month; they also send you a monthly report. It's easy to customize, UI is simple and friendly. I got a premium account for half a price last month! The full price is not that expensive, but I need the premium features especially the auto backup lmao.

(-) HabitBull [Habit Tracker]
I used this daily for tracking habits for like a month and then stopped lmaoo it was good for JUST habit tracking. I feel like it wasn't interesting enough for me. i don't know lmao but i probably am going to use it again in the near future while looking for other similar apps.

(-) My Study Life [Study Tracker]
I use it only when new semester starts actually lmaoo I only use it for inputting class schedule because it has a nice schedule overview. When I was still bullet journal-ing I usually write current assignments and deadlines in the book. Well, thank God I didn't struggle with homework last semester. So, in conclusion, i haven't used this app for awhile now heh but it's a good app overall. 

(-) Any.do [Planner]
This is like the 10th app that I have used as a planner. And I still don't use it properly. This is the exact reason why I come back to bullet journal lmao because there's just no other app that meets my expectation. But I still use the app for my tasks or to-do list that are not daily or weekly, such as grocery lists and stuff.

I might make it a separate post but meh

I only use a notebook as daily planner (and hand lettering practice) now and I have 4 other empty notebook lol

My Interactive Introverts Singapore Update!

[You probably are confused if you don't know me personally (I mean, who are you lol) but I have planned to go with a friend! I haven't wrote it in the blog but it was in an unpublished entry and I have it written down below lmao]

The day I wrote this sentence (July 7), it's already 67 days to go!!!!! I passed the 10 weeks mark last Saturday! At this state, all I did is not just look at meet and greet shots (which, by the way, the US ones are TOO much to handle), but I also look at the #interactiveintroverts tags on instagram since it contains spoilers!!! I hate spoilers but also I live for it. You won't get it but it is what it is. 

And I really get hyped over all these pre-show videos where the audience sings their lungs out to Black Parade!!!!! AAAAH I want to experience it myself but i haven't even passed the 2-month mark :(

Also, I already made 2 friends who are also from Indonesia and going to II Singapore! One of them has a VIP soooo it's difficult not to be jealous :'/

THAT IS RIGHT ma boi olly has done it! I have been waiting for this feeling since Zara Larsson's So Good album; feelings when all you want to do before sleep is listen to it. I am very much obsessed and completely falling in love with it.

ALSOOOOOO there's a remix of If You're Over Me featuring this kpop singer named Key (don't know about him, only know he's from shinee?) and, I know this will come out shocking to you, but I AM IN LOVE! The bridge part is sung in Korean AND I DIDN'T KNOW I NEEDED IT TIL I HEARD IT. 

I THOUGHT THE ORIGINAL WAS ALREADY PERFECT BUT NOPE.

I'll stop.

My next obsession is The Sims 4 new pack, Seasons!!!! It's so pretty and calming and wholesome it makes me want to play it all day long (been there, done that)

I also dive back into the rabbit hole called Webtoon! It's such a waste of time and internet data (except when I was home) but I'm happy so they don't matter.

The REAL reason why I write this entry is...

I was waiting for a friend to sleep over; she does an internship but every time she finish late she will always crash in my place. Today's one of the day. It's half past 11 and my eyes are too heavy right now. I'll probably go rest my eyes first. So... see ya later.

Interactive Introverts UPDATES!!! 5 MONTHS TO GO

The last time I posted, I told y'all my dad let me go to Singapore and he'd bring the whole family. Um, it's a bit extra if I think about it--go abroad just to see these youtubers who are not even relevant to my parents lol. Around last week (7/4), I purchased the tickets! Not gonna lie, the seats are very limited! Took me so long to find a good spot; not perfect, but good enough to do -anything- with my friend lmao.

After the event tickets, a week later--as in yesterday (15/4)--I started looking for flight tickets and accomodation. Believe me, it costs A LOT. Turns out my mom can't decide whether she's able to go or not just yet, until like July or August. And obviously my dad doesn't want to go without her.  SO... I planned the whole trip just for me and my friend. I was (still am though) TERRIFIED because I feel like I'm not mature enough to travel afar; I never go out of the town without my parents, let alone go to another whole country. 

I kinda feel bad for spending my parents' money but....it's like a whole new experience for me. 

And it's only 5 months away!!!

If I'm being honest, the excitement hasn't stroke me yet. I haven't absorbed the fact that I'll be seeing Dan and Phil in months. Wow. It's just weird.

Cousin's Wedding (8/4)

One of my cousins was getting married last week! It was SO beautiful. I've always admired weddings, especially when it's my relative's. Although, to be fair, there have only been 2 weddings lmao. I love getting dressed up and wearing nice dresses and fancy makeup (the aftermath: nice, flick eyebrows and itchy eyes due to fake eyelashes). 

And, food!!!

Nah, but I love getting along with my distant family. It's always feel nice, and I always expect the 'Wow you're getting bigger than the last time we met' kind of question.

Growing up, my parents have a quite different backstory. My dad is half chinese and my mom is javanese, although both of them were growing up in Jakarta. And growing up, I have a very diverse family from both side of my parents. I know things outside my belief (my dad was mainly raised by my grandma's family who were all chinese); I've attended weddings, funerals (lots of it actually), and even Lunar New Year events (I used to get angpao every year lol). It was weird at first, but I'm grateful having such an experience!

Well....apparently it was about ii and a cousin's wedding. GOSH did you read that?! 5 month until II???? HOW DID I SURVIVE lmao it's now 67 days to go and I'm already DYING.

The fact that the entry was never published is somehow funny to me, since it was supposed to be the reveal of me finally going to II haha
