YouTube Trash: Part 1

I became a YouTube trash recently. It's so unhealthy. But yeah, even though pretty much everyone is already a bigger trash than me. I was kind of late to realize how fun YouTube is.

Yep. Fun. Until you are being emotionally attached to someone and there's no turning back.

I started to get into the rabbit hole just months ago (I think it was October 2015) because of PewDiePie. And I was curious why some people are so into YouTube? What is it there? And I subscribed more channels. And now here I am.

I'm not going to brag about my subscriptions or anything, that isn't my purpose (seriously I've only subscribed to like 100 people so far, I don't know, haven't counted it yet). I honestly think that this is funny and a good idea to tell the story behind it.

So basically these are what I'm going to write on this post:
  • Close my eyes
  • Scroll the subscription list so then I'd see a random channel
  • And just write stuffs like channel name, real name, how I found their channel, first impression, their second channel (if they have one) and see if I've subscribed to it, their books (if they have one) and see if I have bought it or really want to buy it, etc etc etc or just giving them nice comments if I cba to write
Until this point I feel like this is going to be a flop.

I will make PewDiePie as the example, and then I will start choosing randomly.

Enjoy!

PewDiePie

Meet Felix Kjekjfhlkzase (jk it's Kjellberg, I googled it) and I prefer calling him Felix because it's a cute name ugh.

It was a typical day at school when I first found out about Five Nights at Freddy's. My friends and I played the game on the library's computer. I was curious. When I got home, I opened YouTube to see any Let's Play videos (as if I had no clue what tf Let's Play was) and obviously the first video was Felix's.

Like, even though I had never gotten into this side of YouTube, who didn't know him?

So I clicked the video and I was hooked. So fast that I couldn't stop clicking the next recommended video. Non stop. I played it everywhere. It was really bad.

Actually when I first discovered about him, I also found jacksepticeye's and markiplier's videos but my first impression about them was not that good; they had the most annoying voices.

(Sorry jack and markimoo omg I love you now you know that, right?)

I don't think Felix has a second channel.

I have This Book Loves You omg it's good the paper is so good I wanna cry.

BuzzFeedVideo

This is for when I'm bored, which is most of the time.

danisnotonfire

I DIDN'T THINK I WOULD GET HIM THIS FAST WOW I'M NOT READY

Meet Daniel James Howell, my everything. Um, where do I start?

Obviously everyone on Twitter has been talking about him for a very long time but I was not really into that side of YouTube? He was literally everywhere. I mean I remember that time when 'hey buddy you in london' memes became viral and I just laughed at the tweets and RT and liked it because how stupid he was although I didn't even know him...

...yet.

The first time I actually watch him on a video was when he did a collab with Felix on the 7 seconds challenge video with Phil (yep I just feel the need to say his name) and, wow he's funny and so pretty, I thought.

And the recommended video was from DanAndPhilGAMES where they also posted a collab video with Felix and Marzia (yas my two fav ships).

And then it all started when I clicked on this video. (check it out because it's amazingggggggggggg)

I barely knew them, boy couldn't I even tell the difference between Dan and Phil back then. I didn't even know what Phil's channel is. But I wanted to buy their book. So bad. As if I have been their loyal fan for years. I felt like I want to cry for not having their book.

True.

That's not it actually, like I had to watch 5 videos of Dan before I decided to subscribe to him. But, yeah, okay. This is too long. I could make a post just for him.

He has a side channel which is danisnotinteresting, a gaming channel with Phil which I already mentioned above, and DanAndPhilCRAFTS for all crafties out there. Subscribed. All of them. Obviously.

I was finally able to buy The Amazing Book is Not on Fire, thank God. Life = complete.

Marcus Butler

Why do I keep getting the good ones for the start?

Meet Marcus Butler. (I don't know what to say about him)

I don't remember how exactly I found his channel. But my first impression about him was wow his body his hair his voice wow wow never subscribed to a channel so fast in my life.

Like, honestly, I'm very considerate if it comes to subscribing to a channel.

All I can say about him: his face is too innocent for him. Every time he posted 'adult' related videos I was like no marky wyd

His side channel is MoreMarcus and that's the perfect place if you want a good thumbnail in your subscription list every day as he does daily uploads. He also has a gaming channel which is MarcusButlerGames but I haven't subscribed to it. I haven't even watched a video from the channel.

Uh, I forgot the name of his book, Hello Life I guess. I don't have it :( I really want to tho!

How to Cake It

Yasss my favourite channel!!! Books-or-any-things-shaped cakes is all I need in life, even if it's only from the tiny 5 inches screen. Every Tuesday.

Thanks, Yolanda.

ExplosmEntertainment

To be honest, the notifications from this channel is what I wait for the most. Seriously. I'm in love with their comics. They're able to fulfill my dark humor sometimes. It's fun.

JennaMarbles

Meet Jenna Mourey! (I did google her real name yo research is fun)

She's queen.

I'm into her.

That's all.

Vsauce

This one is for fulfilling my curiosity. I do subscribe to all the channel; Vsauce2 and Vsauce3

I like the feeling when your brain cannot function properly for 10 minutes after watching a video from them. It's relaxing not to think about other stuffs for a moment.

Cameron Mitchell

Meet Cameron Mitchell!!!

Wow. I still subscribe to him all this time? I subscribed to him like years ago when Dameron was still a thing. Good memories.

Mike Tompkins

Meet Mike Tompkins, the first ever YouTuber I have ever subscribed! (I don't know, like, 6 years ago?)

We interacted many times via Twitter! But I rarely open my fan account nowadays.

He's doing very well omg I'm genuinely proud of him for coming this far!

And the baby. Is. Too. Cute.

Quick confession: I really cannot be bothered to write longer, will do when I have a decent backstory about finding the channel from now on. Forgive me. It's half past 1 in the morning.

This is the end of the first part! Hope the next one is much better. I will see you soon!
